BIG housework day! Lots of road dust to clean up, but we found time in the afternoon for disc golf here in the campground. Kris and the girls came over after a play they went to, so we did the playground and got a tour from Homer (Walt's Dad) through the campground. This should really be fun for the girls as beside the playground, they have bumper boats in a small, man-made lake, and indoor-outdoor heated pool, mini-golf, video games, pool table, ping pong, air hockey, children's fountain pool, giant checkers and a petting zoo. Not to mention pizza, and beer and wine restaurant for Mom & Dad. They also serve breakfast during June-August season. I may end up doing the serving?? Right now, the petting zoo animals are running loose in the campground enjoying the fresh Spring grass. There are goats, miniture donkeys, horse, cow, and a llama, alpacas, rabbits, chickens & ducks. Walt's dogs also run loose and help round up the animals.

Sunny and cold this morning (34 degrees). We're off to a good start, even though Mandy (GPS) does not want to take the route we want to take. We are tricking her a bit saying we want to go to Ponderey, Idaho - 57 miles - which is on Hwy 2 and that's the road we want to travel. Hope she can find her way after that to Glacier Park KOA in Whitefish, MT. The ride was very pretty. Montana has the best water of any Western state we have been in. Lots of snow still high up in the mountains. We arrived at our summer home and no one was there to tell us where to set up, so we had to search him out. After we found him, we went to our site and while getting level, Beau (cat) jumped out the window! Same thing happened last year. We also got all set up and then realized we couldn't close one compartment door due to the electric pole. We had to move the rig 2" and set up all over again. The engine running spurred Beau to run back up the steps and into the rig to safety inside. On, the steps only opened out periodically while we were in and out getting level, but finally they decided to work properly. This is all part of being "trailer trash". Anyway, we like our woodsy, hilly home and we have already met two of our neighbors who will be our co-workers this Summer. After the boss (Walt) took us to our site, he said to take the weekend off and "see you Monday around 9-9:30AM". Pretty laid back kinda guy. We then went to Kris' about 6:30 for a much anticipated visit and dinner. After dinner we sat by their patio fireplace and watched the girls play in the back yard. I got to do the baths and a bedtime book, then Norm and I headed home. Life is good.

Today was MEGA disc golf day. We found two beautiful courses by co-ordinates and they were along the Spokane River - up and down slippery slopes! We skipped lunch and played both courses (Down River and High Bridge) Chassis was with us and about burned up her bark cords as there were numerous dogs in both parks, OFF LEASH! She almost had her chance to be turned loose on more than one occasion. Needless to say, we were all pooped and hungry when we got home. Tomorrow is Family in Montana.....yeah!
